The ultimate speed machine! The recently updated Nitro Pantera is engineered for speed freaks looking for psycho control on and off the fresh groomers, explicitly built for riders looking for a race and speed experience unlike anything seen before.

Profile: Camber
Terrain: All-mountain
Response: Responsive

Features:

  • Powerlite core: The highest grade of ultra-lightweight poplar wood in our Powerlite core makes for the perfect ride with lots of pop and unmatched strength at a minimum weight.
  • Reflex core profile: A thinner core profile between your feet improves handling and increases torsional flex, allowing you to steer your board through a turn with ease.
  • Diamond band: Carbon reinforcement fibers are ultra-strong yet lightweight. Tip- to-tail stringers transfer rider’s input to help you drive your board and stay in control.
  • Tri-Lite laminates: The perfect blend of flex and torsion control, Nitro tuned Tri- Lite Laminates with fibers running in 3 directions make for quick turning, highly responsive boards.
  • Sintered speed formula II base: Rocket science put to work! A nanotech wax formula deeply infused into our sintered base material makes the base surface lightning fast in all snow conditions. Highly tuned yet extremely durable, SPEED FORMULA II Base technology is exclusively featured on Nitro high-end boards.
  • Progressive sidecut: A larger radius in the front, blended into a tighter one towards the tail: The progressive sidecut makes accelerating out of turns a breeze, while maintaining a catch-free nose area.

  • Profile: Camber

Precision, control and pop. The side profile of camber looks like a rainbow. Tried and true, camber has been the dominant board bend in the snowboard industry for almost 40 years. Adopted from the bend of alpine skis, camber snowboards deliver precise turning and edge control, with spring-loaded pop due to the bend in the board, providing better jumping characteristics. Advanced riders tend to prefer this bend, especially for hard carving and high-speed riding. Even when it comes to softer park snowboards, camber boards deliver exceptional pop and control.
However, they are not as forgiving of mistakes and can be more difficult to learn or progress on than a rocker or hybrid bend.

  • Shape: Directional

A smooth, reliable ride. Directional shapes generally feature a longer, softer nose and a shorter, stiffer tail. These shapes thrive in an all-mountain environment, as they possess the ability to ride more smoothly than their twin-tip counterparts and behave more reliably in variable snow conditions, anywhere from choppy snow to deeper powder. More twin-looking directional shapes where the difference between nose and tail appear minimal will perform best as crossover freestyle snowboards for those looking to still access the park, while more exaggerated differences will excel for additional float in deep powder.

    Flex: 9 (Scale 1-10)

    Responsive Flex. Power. Precision. Control.

    Base: Sintered

High-end base material that is harder, more durable, and faster than extruded bases.
